Since Sport Relief launched on 19th January everyone, from children to celebrities, is gearing up for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Nottingham – and now the cast of Circus of Horrors are showing their support too!
A full cast of twisted contortionists, demon dwarfs and voodoo warriors added t-shirts, socks and deeley boppers to their decadent and all together ghoulish costume ahead of their evening performance in Nottingham Royal Theatre.
The freaky bunch put the frights on the people of Nottingham and encouraged them to do their bit for Sport Relief and enter the Nottingham Mile, which takes place on Sunday 25th March.
Dr Haze, manager of Circus of Horrors said: “Being chased by a lion would certainly make me run a Mile! But I think simply raising money and supporting worthy causes is a good enough reason to sign up and do the Sport Relief Mile.”
Continued Dr. Haze: “You don’t have to have to be flexible to join in the fun – anyone can get involved and get sponsored to do the Mile. The money you raise really does make a difference to people right here in the East Midlands, as well as across the UK and in the world’s poorest countries.”
This year, over one million people are expected to pull up their Sport Relief socks and take part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile to raise money for vulnerable people across the UK and the world’s poorest countries.
