Dance4 Autumn Season Programme

This Autumn, Dance4 presents an exciting and wide programme of performances for the East Midlands.

This ranges from Canadian artists PME-ART exploring individuality through audience Q&A and old vinyls at Nottingham Contemporary (to a maximum of 50 people!), to East Midlands artist Hetain Patel previewing his new piece of work Be Like Water at New Art Exchange (which is free, but needs to be booked in advance).

There is also a free participatory/durational piece by Dance4 Associate Artist Guy Dartnell, Inward Out, exploring stillness at Nottingham Contemporary, and two touring pieces that we are presenting in partnership with Lakeside Arts Centre in their theatre space: Champloo Dance Co. & Travelling Light’s White Caps and Frauke Requardt’s Episode.

See full programme or pick up a brochure that can be found in and around Nottingham. This also includes a little more information of what residencies will be happening at Dance4 studio, as well as details on an opportunity for dance artists and members of the community to get involved with dance, i.e. with Retina Dance Company (BE/UK)’s Layers of Skin piece which will be performed in January at Nottingham Playhouse (auditions will be Nov 26 at Dance4 studio).

Based in Nottingham, Dance4 is an international centre for the development of extraordinary 21st century dance.  An internationally recognised, experimental dance organisation and a unique voice in the UK dance sector, Dance4’s work supports artists and practitioners who are interested in the development of dance within performance and learning environments.
