Broadway and Waterstones Nottingham present an evening with Irvine Welsh. The celebrated author will be talking about his life and work and signing copies of his new novel ‘Skagboys’ – the prequel to international bestseller ‘Trainspotting’.
OK, it’s not Nottingham as in the city, but Richard Nottingham, the hero of Nottingham-based writer Chris Nickson.
If you know me, you probably also know I’m an avid reader and have been attending a book clubran by the lovely Pam, which now takes place at the Broadway. If you’re thinking about joining a book club but are put off by preconceptions, you should just come along and you’ll never look back!
Lots and lots of people came along and true to the promise we all ate cake, drank wine and had a fantastic evening talking about the book choices and all the exciting things we have planned for the Walk Cafe Book Club.
